Due to unforeseen health circumstances within the family, the funeral services have been postponed. The family appreciates your understanding, prayers, and support during this time. A new date and time for the services will be announced.
Betty Morgan
November 10, 1937 — July 21, 2026
A memorial service to honor Betty's life will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, July 31st at First Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. Nate Leonard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Betty will be laid to rest privately at Pineview Cemetery in Rocky Mount.
Philippines Mission Trip Update 2026
What an incredible trip! The Philippines Mission Team will be returning home TOMORROW, Wednesday, July 29th. Continue to pray for safe travels as they make their way back to the United States.

Helene Rebuild Missions Trip
Join us August 23–29 as we partner with Baptists on Mission to assist with Hurricane Helene recovery efforts in Swannanoa, NC. There are limited spots available. No special skills are required to participate, although experience in construction, plumbing, electrical work, cleaning, or other trades are helpful. If you are interested in serving and helping families rebuild, please sign up below.

Summer Bible Study
The Purpose of Prayer
Join the ladies this summer as we study "The Purpose of Prayer" through Precept ministries. This is Volume One of a three part series, that we will continue into the Fall on Wednesday nights. We will meet at Alyssa Day's house (102 Countryside Court, Newport) this summer for dinner and to discuss the homework on the following dates:

Down East Boys in Concert
Join us on Friday, September 18, 2026, for an evening of inspiring Southern Gospel music with the Down East Boys. Doors open at 6:00 PM, and the concert begins at 7:00 PM. Tickets will also be available at the door for $20.

We'll wrap up our summer activities with a trip to Mac Daddy's.
