Ash Wednesday Worship Service - February 26 at 6:30pm
Join us for our Ash Wednesday Worship Service on February 26 at 6:30pm in our Sanctuary. Ash Wednesday is the beginning of the 40 day season of Lent which we symbolically prepare for the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter. This service encourages the focus of repentance and prayer by the receiving of ashes on the forehead. First Baptist Kids will still meet for Mission Friends (4 & 5 Year Olds) and Children in Action (1st - 5th Grade) at 6:30pm. Childcare will be available for children birth - 3 years of age.
JOY Club Meeting & Lunch - Tuesday, March 3 at 10:45am
Join the senior adults for the JOY Club Meeting and Lunch in the sanctuary for a presentation by Tami Thomas, founder and CEO of the MirIAM. MirIAM is a faith-based drug and alcohol rehabilitation center for women located here in Morehead City. A luncheon will follow in the Family Life Center.
Day Trip to Yoder's Dutch Pantry & General Store - March 24
Join the Senior Adults as they go to Yoder's Dutch Pantry for lunch. After lunch there will be time to browse the general store and enjoy a delicious pastry from the bakery. They will leave the church at 9:30am and should arrive back around 4pm. Click here to sign up.
Wednesday Night Activities
Our Wednesday Night Activities begins with our Fellowship Meal at 5:30am followed by our Children's Mission Studies, Youth Activities, and Adult Prayer & Book Study. Pastor Nate is currently going through the "Cast of Characters" book by Max Lucado which digs deep into the extraordinary stories of Mary, Matthew, Joseph, Nicodemus, Esther, Job, the Samaritan Woman, John and many more. CentriKid Camp - July 6-10 at Barton College
CentriKid Camp is is a five-day Christian camp for children who have completed grades 3-6th. The camp offers kids an opportunity to make new friends, explore a new place, and encounter God in a new way.
