The J.O.Y Ministries seeks to glorify God as we minister to the senior adults of First Baptist Church and those in the Morehead City area. Our senior adults are an essential part of many ministries within our church. It is our goal to provide ministries for our senior adults to grow spiritually, to enjoy fellowship with one another, to serve others, and to gain more knowledge on topics of interest. Come and join us on this mission.

Myrtle Beach - Carolina Opry Christmas Show and Shopping
Join us as we travel to Myrtle Beach on Thursday, November 21 and take in the Christmas Show at the Carolina Opry that evening. On Friday we will enjoy some shopping before traveling home. We will stay at the Fairfield Inn-Broadway at the Beach. The cost for the hotel room (2 Queen Beds) will be $85.88 and the cost of the show will be $45.00. Breakfast is included in the hotel price. Christmas Caroling and Poinsettia Delivery to our Home Bound - Tuesday, December 3 from 3-5pm.
Join us as we bring a little cheer and Christmas spirit to our homebound as we deliver poinsettias and sing Christmas carols. We will leave from the church around 3pm. Click here to sign up and let us know you will be joining us.
JOY Ministries Christmas Celebration - Saturday, December 7 from 1:30pm till 3:30pm
Join us for our Christmas Celebration in our Family Life Center for some great fellowship and food. Sarah DeLuzio, Sally Lumpkin, and Becky Misner will lead us in Christmas songs to help us get into the Christmas spirit. Please bring your favorite finger foods to share with everyone. Join us as we travel to Yoder's Dutch Pantry, a Mennonite Restaurant and Bakery, for lunch. Yoder's is your One-Stop-Shop for all things that includes home made breads, jellies, jams, delicious home cook meals, and their great big delicious cinnamon rolls. Will leave the church around 10am.
