Our Purpose
The cross is a visual interpretation of four biblical truths that define us as Christians and as the body of Christ here at First Baptist as we live to be disciples of Christ who exalt God, prepare people and share Christ.
 

Our Master is Jesus Christ
"And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy."  Colossians 1:18

Our Message is the Gospel
"Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you...that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures."  1 Corinthians 15:1, 3-4

Our Mission is to Make Disciples
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."  Matthew 28:19

Our Motive is the Glory of God
"For from him and through him and for him are all things.  To him be the glory forever! Amen."  Romans 11:36
