Private Lessons (In person available for select instruments)
Private lessons are offered weekly in 30, 45, and 60 minute increments and are taught at First Baptist Church. Lessons are offered in Piano, Organ (for advanced piano students only), Voice, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Violin/Suzuki, Viola/Suzuki, Cello/Suzuki, Ukulele, Drum Set, Percussion, Accordion, Music Therapy, Music Theory and Composition.
| Music & Me
Ages Newborn – 17 months (9:00 am)
Ages 18 months—3.5 years (10:00 am)
Parent or caregiver attends and participates with child/
children In this 45 minute class.
Music & Me is an early childhood music and movement
class for mixed ages. Have fun making music together
in a relaxed and playful family-style environment,
where the children participate at their own level of
development, in multi-sensory learning experiences.
Music making in each class will include:
Singing and vocalizing, rhythmic chants, finger plays,
playing tuned or untuned percussion instruments,
dancing, creative movement, music-inspired story time,
active listening, making and manipulating a variety of
sounds and materials, circle games, calming/bonding
activities, etc.
Music activities will be designed to address:
Social, emotional, physical, cognitive and musical levels
of development, and adults will learn ways to continue
and create music making experiences at home.
Led by a board-certified music therapist with over 20
years experience facilitating early childhood music and
movement groups

Art Class
Students will experience a variety of media, which may include paint, clay, beads, mixed, and collage. Drawing skills may also be included. Fine motor skills and creativity will be developed through the many different projects. Group and private instruction are offered.
